my name is Roelien

I have been a full time professional photographer for 8 years!

Worthit Photography was a dream given to me by God! A business I wanted to have that will make every person that comes in front of my lens feel Worth it! Not just a passion, but a calling!

Capturing moments that you can hold onto forever and frame in your house and keep in your heart is something I strive to achieve! Freezing your moments!

Here is a few facts about me

I have an incredible husband and 2 beautiful kids and I’m truly blessed with the best

I love coffee, maybe a little too much

I hate shoes, and even got married barefeet

I love sunflowers

My 2 favourite colours are green and yellow, you can probably see it all over

I’m a down to earth Afrikaans “boere meisie”, but I do try my very best South African English accent

What is your turnaround time?
It depends on the type of shoot and if we are in-season or out-of-season.

Typically, Lifestyle & Branding shoots are 2-4 weeks turnaround. Weddings are 8-12 weeks turnaround.

What should I wear?

It will depend on if your shoot is inside or outside and the type of shoot you will do. I always guide all my clients and help them to decide on a theme and colours for their shoot.

Do you travel and what is the cost?
I only travel for full outdoor shoots (60min or more), lifestyle newborn shoots at home & weddings. Mini shoots (20min) are only in my studio in Noordheuwel, Krugersdorp.
My travel cost is R5/km (I do give 20km free for lifestyle shoots & 80km free for weddings).

How does payment work?

Lifestyle & Branding

Full Shoot (60min) & Normal Mini Shoot (20min) – 30% Booking Fee required to book, the rest is payable 2 days before your shoot.

Special Mini Shoot Setup (20min) – Full payment is required to book your slot. For example, Valentines Minis, Mothersday Minis, Spring Minis, Christmas Minis etc.

Weddings

30% Booking Fee required to book, the rest is payable 2 weeks before your wedding.

Rene Coetzee

Where do I start? Roelien has been our family’s photographer since 2018. She has been there for all our special moments and watched our family grow. It all started with a very special maternity shoot and many, many amazing shoots followed. I have never met a photographer as patient and kind as her. Photoshoots can be weird and awkward, but not with Roelien – we always feel relaxed with her, turning even our busy 6-year old’s silliness into beautiful photos.
